At AET we’re pleased to support National Reconciliation Week again this year by participating in the 2019 Street Banner Project in Perth. If you live, work or are visiting Perth from 27 May to 3 June, you will be able to see our two AET-sponsored banners flying in the Murray and Hay Street malls.

What is National Reconciliation Week?

Reconciliation is about creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. National Reconciliation Week is held at the same time each year (27 May to 3 June) and commemorates two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey – the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.

This year the theme for National Reconciliation Week is – Grounded in Truth. Walk Together with Courage. Find out more
